My husband and I are in our late 60s. We have a little in savings, but one medical problem can wipe us out. We own our very tiny house in one of the poorest counties in New York State. And yet we are considered in the UPPER level of financial "haves" around Albany NY.

We would move out of America in a heartbeat, but at our age without a lot of money, nobody wants us; they figure we'll just suck up services without giving back.

So we're as stuck here as the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto. And no, I don't believe America will get out of this. Oh, maybe in 20-30 years something will rise out of the ashes and dead bodies, but it won't be the same country.

And that's probably a good thing.
