Laura, I want to send you roses. Champagne. Something. The point of spirituality is not to do the wicky-woo, but to make a difference in the world. I am someone who's been in the thick of it for 50 years, and I do it because people need to reconnect, to realize that we are here to leave the world better than we found it AND find out who we are along the way.

I just wrote an article elsewhere about the fact that I am considered "not living up to my potential" because I am not willing to make a six-figure income my "goal" as a "life coach." Me, I'm a hedge priest; I go where I'm needed and I make myself available even if you're not a 1%er. Spirituality can be a deeply strengthening experience (and I am NOT talking religion), but if you don't turn around and use it to heal the world in some capacity, then it's just vibrational masturbation.
